Loretto Housing Association becomes Wheatley Homes Loretto

From today, Thursday 15 October, Loretto will be known as Wheatley Homes Loretto.

The change follows conversations with tenants over recent months, including meetings with customers in their communities to hear their views on the proposed new name.

The new name brings Wheatley Homes Loretto more closely in line with Wheatley’s other RSLs, Wheatley Homes Glasgow, Wheatley Homes East and Wheatley Homes South, helping make services and communications simpler and more joined up.

The change will also bring benefits for customers and communities, including an additional £250,000 investment in Loretto homes and communities over the next five years. Working more closely with Wheatley’s other RSLs will also help reduce costs, with savings reinvested in homes and services, while digital services and information for customers will become more joined up.

James Ward, Managing Director of Wheatley Homes Loretto, said:

For tenants, everything else stays the same. There is no change to homes, tenancies, rents, services or local staff, and customers will continue to receive the same services and support.

Customers will start to see the Wheatley Homes Loretto name on letters and other communications.
